So happy to announce the implementation of a Parenting Forum to the Little Tot's website!  Here are a few questions posed about this wonderful new addition to our class resources.

Q.  What is the purpose of this blog?

A.  The purpose of the Parenting Forum is the sharing of information.  It is my hope that I can facilitate a give and take of parenting information and advice in this forum.  Through a polling of currently enrolled families, I would like to offer a means of answering typical parenting dilemmas, based on leading expert advice.  It is my hope that in researching various topics for individual families that I can help to elicit positive parenting strategies that can be shared with all of our enrolled families.

In addition, I would love for the blog to include the sharing of community events, household tips, breastfeeding advice, family life stories, polls, links, traditions and inspiration.

Q.  Who are the experts that will be providing parenting information?

A.  One of the great benefits of my education and personal experiences working with young children I have a huge resource library full of current text books as well as medical books and parenting books.  Only the best survive my library, those that don’t get donated.  Many of my books have been recommended by my teachers, colleagues, clients and friends, so the advice is sound and not grandmotherly. 

Q.  The forum is not an open forum, how do we post? 

A.  For those affiliated with Little Tot’s it only takes an email.  Send me an email, at littletotsblog@gmail.com let me know what you would like to share and I will add your information to our post.  The Little Tot’s forum has to be clean, in good humor or taste, and without criticism.  For that reason, I prefer to have the power to choose what is and what is not relevant information to share.

Q.  How often will new posts be added?

A.  Blogging is to me a completely new ballgame.  I’ve only recently learned what twitter was, I don’t have a facebook page and I’m not too terribly hip, so you must bear with me.  It is my intention to answer questions as they come, weekly, bi-weekly etc, and to post relevant topics shared when they are shared with me.
